I recently recreated the “Midnights” bodysuit that Taylor Swift wears on the Eras Tour for a customer and learned SO much!

I’ve gotten asked about product links and what I used so here’s my summary:

6 bags of “sapphire” rhinestones in SS30 size
2 bags of “montana” rhinestones in SS30 size
1 bag of “aquamarine” rhinestones in SS30 size (not necessary, but I loved the dimension they added!)
1 bag of “black diamond” rhinestones in SS30 size (again, not necessary, but I loved the extra dimension!)
2 bags of “crystal” rhinestones in SS34 size
1 bag of “sapphire” rhinestones in SS12 size
1 bag of “silver” rhinestones in SS4 (I don’t particularly recommend these because they were too small, but they did add a nice touch…maybe a size or two bigger would be ideal!)
1 bag of 1/4 inch glass bugle tube beads (these were my favorite to use - they added SO much to it!)
1 bag of large oval rhinestones
1 tube of E600 glue (my favorite for these types of things!!!)
1 syringe (they’re supposedly a “one time use” but if you clean it out well, you can use it multiple times!)
1 case of wax pens
2 yards of blue beaded fringe trim (the longer one)
5 yards of short blue beaded fringe trim
18-20 inch zipper (I prefer to use invisible ones)
1.5 yards of fabric

I’ve seen so many people recreate this design in so many different ways and I think in the end, it all looks relatively like her bodysuit if you get the silver detail lines in the right place! Aside from that, you can kind of get creative with a lot of the placements. I’ll leave some up-close pictures of the one I recreated for inspo! My customer had a larger chest than Taylor so the placements on the chest area are modified to fit her body type a little better - otherwise, I did my best to follow Taylor’s bodysuit!
